Trudy Nicolay-Deutz is a former marketing start-up junkie, mom, wife to a busy entrepreneur, and co-founder of Elephant Books. Living and working in the Silicon Valley area, in her early career she was drawn to new, burgeoning companies that were developing exciting solutions in the digital world and enjoyed being on the ground floor of something new and the camaraderie of like-minded people invested in a common goal. When she became a mom, she made a personal choice to focus on family at a stage in life when she could have propelled her career.
