A writer, avid reader, and lover of children’s literature, she received her bachelor of arts in English with a Writing Concentration from Gettysburg College. Rachel has published work in The Mercury Literary Magazine and The Cupola Scholarly Achievement Journal and was the recipient of the Stephen Crane Fiction prize for short fiction. A native of the Chicago suburbs, she enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and reading with her one-year-old niece.
